SPL report
- Camporee was great.
- back-packing campout planned for 5/13-14.
- this month is gaming month.
Scoutmaster report
- Camporee was great. We won the campsite competition and the clean campsite competition. The boys represented themselves well.
- Will put an upper limit on the number of OA scouts to staff, as it severely affects the Troop.
- Excellent cooperation between the two new Scout patrols for Breakfast.
- suggestion from one of the webelos parents -- assign the webelos to a patrol so that the food is more evenly distributed. Since there was no assignment, everyone lined up at the first station to have food, leading to gross shortages in some Patrols, but leftovers in others.
Eagle project proposals
Eric Schucht. Youth advisory council has asked to have their meeting room remodeled. Project has been approved by council. A good amount of prep work has been done, but Eric needs to meet with the Eagle advisor, Chris Welder, to complete the preparations for the proposal to the Committee and present it at a later meeting. Especially, he needs to ensure that he has written approval from the city to do the work, if it is approved by the Committee and Eagle board. Otherwise, it sounds like a great project.
Dylan Shelton. Dylan proposes a project to help the Tualatin Presbyterian Church by cleaning the parking lot and repainting the lines. The Committee felt that it is a worthy project, but Dylan needs to meet with the Eagle advisor and complete all of the preparations for the Eagle proposal and then re-present at a later meeting.
