Wapiti Camporee at Evergreen Museum

Once again, the Evergreen Museum in McMinnville hosted the Wapiti District Camporee. The Scouts came prepared after a pre-camporee campout with the skills to set up the tarp tents, KP station, dining areas and know exactly what is needed for a successful weekend camp.

The food was excellent and though the weather did not cooperate the camp area stayed relatively mud free and earned the scouts the award for the best campsite.

The Scouts (and some Adults) were able to work on a range of activities, from Tomahawk throwing through to outdoor skills. In the evening, the Evergreen Museum graciously opened their museum and IMAX Cinema, both of which were very much appreciated by all.
